This is in addition to my earlier post. I stated that There is a linkage going to the back of my tractor in addition to one going to the front from my clutch. The one going to the front seems to be operating but the one going to the back does nothing when i push the clutch. I have a picture i could attach if someone could send me there e-mail and maybe could tell me what that specific linkage does. Thanks

Generally it's good to keep discussions together. I made a couple of suggestions and questions (maybe not that good of ones) in the original thread but my post may have been longer than you can see.

I was hoping somebody who knows the tractor would comment about the linkage. My only thought is that it might have something to do with a two-stage clutch, although my Ford works from only one shaft going into the housing. You might indicate if the pedal has the feeling of free-play at the top followed by tension. Hope you get this one figured out. That's no way for a new used tractor to be treating its owner. ....
